So Monday night we had a fun session with a fellow photographer, because no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to take pictures of myself with my family- at least not anything I would put up on our mantle... so! Out to the park we went. Bridgeland has so many great spots for pictures. The grounds are kept so well, and there is always some place new to go. I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce you to my family. Brian and I have been married 10 wonderful years. We met at A&M (gig 'em), got married in Houston and then moved here, went on a second honeymoon to Italy a couple of years later, and came home with a souvenir- Elena. She's 7 1/2 now. It's amazing how the time flies. This girl has the sweetest spirit (and she's so smart!). She has to be the bestest big sister ever. Seriously. Isabel just turned 2 a couple of days ago, and boy is her little personality revving up. Lately she walks around with her hands on her hips like she owns the place. She is very independent, but she absolutely adores her big sister, and makes her daddy's day when she runs to the door to meet him shouting, "Da-dee! Da-dee!!" What precious girls we have. We are truly blessed. (Just a little side note- we sort of use stars as a special symbol for Celeste. Brian gave me a beautiful James-Avery star necklace when Celeste was born, so I wear it whenever we have portraits done to be sure that every member of our little family is represented. After all, she's ours to keep!)
Oh, and you might barely see it in this second shot, but I had my camera as well (big surprise). I got some cute pics of the girls that I hope to add soon. Love my girls (and that handsome man)!!
